144-48-9, 2-Iodoacetamide is a synthetic retinoid that binds to the DNA of cells, altering transcription. It also has been found to be effective in treating bowel disease and has been shown to have dna binding activity. The compound was synthesized by attaching iodine molecules to acetamide. 2-Iodoacetamide targets the protein thiols on the surface of cells, which are responsible for oxidation and damage due to reactive oxygen species (ROS). This compound is metabolized by alcohol dehydrogenase and can be used as a biological sample or natural compound is a compound used as an electrophile for covalent modification of nucleophilic residues on proteins (cysteine, methionine, histidine). When modifying the active-site residues of cysteine proteases, α-Iodoacetamide acts as an irreversible inhibitor of these enzymes.

2-Iodoacetamide used in peptide mapping because it covalently binds with thiols in cysteine residues, thereby preventing disulfide bond formation. By virtue of reaction with cysteine, it is an irreversible inhibitor of enzymes with cysteine at the active site. Also reacts with histidine residues though much more slowly, and this activity is responsible for inhibition of ribonuclease.

Liu, Xinyue;Gygi, Steven P.;Paulo, Joao A. research published 《 A Semiautomated Paramagnetic Bead-Based Platform for Isobaric Tag Sample Preparation》, the research content is summarized as follows. The development of streamlined and high-throughput sample processing workflows is important for capitalizing on emerging advances and innovations in mass spectrometry-based applications. While the adaptation of new technologies and improved methodologies is fast paced, automation of upstream sample processing often lags. Here we have developed and implemented a semiautomated paramagnetic bead-based platform for isobaric tag sample preparation We benchmarked the robot-assisted platform by comparing the protein abundance profiles of six common parental laboratory yeast strains in triplicate TMTpro16-plex experiments against an identical set of experiments in which the samples were manually processed. Both sets of experiments quantified similar numbers of proteins and peptides with good reproducibility. Using these data, we constructed an interactive website to explore the proteome profiles of six yeast strains. We also provide the community with open-source templates for automating routine proteomics workflows on an opentrons OT-2 liquid handler. The robot-assisted platform offers a versatile and affordable option for reproducible sample processing for a wide range of protein profiling applications.

Polymeric carbon nitrides (PCNs) have emerged as promising heterogeneous photocatalysts for organic transformations as they are metal-free, inexpensive, and possess tunable bandgaps, with excellent chem. stability and photo-stability. However, current application of PCNs in organic synthesis is rather limited to several well-established materials, which limits the scope of reaction patterns and efficiency. We herein report the synthesis and fabrication of two PCN nanosheets by incorporating nanostructure construction, element doping, and vacancy engineering into one hybrid platform. The heteroatom doped PCN nanosheets with vacancies feature highly porous structures with extremely large substrate-catalyst interface areas and enhanced charge separation The generated heterogeneous catalysts demonstrate impressive photoredox catalytic performances in a variety of organic transformations (e.g., defluoroborylation; [2+2] cycloaddition; C-N, C-S, C-O cross-couplings; and an unprecedented regioselective hydrosilylation), providing efficiencies comparable to reported optimized homogeneous catalysts and exceeding those with commonly utilized PCNs.

Aryl bromide is one of the most important compounds in organic chem., because it is widely used as synthetic building blocks enabling quick access to a wide array of bioactive mols., organic materials, and polymers via the versatile cutting-edge transformations of C-Br bond. Direct C-H bond functionalization of aryl bromide is considered to be an efficient way to prepare functionalized aryl bromides; however, it is rarely explored possibly due to the relatively low reactivity of aryl bromide toward C-H bond activation. Telomerase has become one of the new popular targets for the development of anti-tumor drugs. Based on the structural characteristics of the BIBR1532 which has entered the stage of clin. research, six series total of 64 new compounds with diverse structural characteristics were designed and synthesized. The inhibitory activity against SGC-7901, MGC-803, SMMC-7721, A375 and GES cell lines and their telomerase inhibitory activity were tested. Among them, eight compounds showed good activity against cancer cells, among them compounds 56, 57 and 59 also showed low toxicity. Some of them showed excellent telomerase inhibitory activity with IC50 values ranging from 0.62μM to 8.87μM. Based on above, in depth structure-activity relationships were summarized, the compounds by replacing Me group with cyanide and retaining amide moiety had good anti-tumor activity, moderate cytotoxicity, and better telomerase inhibitory activity. The results should be used for reference in BIBR1532-based structural optimization for further development of small mol. telomerase inhibitors.

Recommanded Product: 3-Iodoaniline, 3-Iodoaniline is a useful research compound. Its molecular formula is C6H6IN and its molecular weight is 219.02 g/mol. The purity is usually 95%.

3-Iodoaniline is a fatty acid that is used in analytical methods to measure the concentration of human serum in blood. It can be used to estimate the population growth rate, with a half-life of about 13 hours. 3-Iodoaniline reacts with hydrogen bond and proton to form a reaction solution, which can be catalyzed by palladium-catalyzed coupling and suzuki coupling reactions. The activation energies for these reactions are typically in the range of 4-8 kcal/mol. The chemical ionization technique is a type of mass spectrometry that is used to determine kinetic data for this compound. Hydrochloric acid can be added as an acid catalyst to increase the rate of reaction and generate more accurate kinetic data., 626-01-7.

Alkyl iodides react at a faster rate than alkyl fluorides due to the weak C-I bond. Iodo alkanes participate in a variety of organic synthesis reactions, which include the Simmons-Smith reaction (cyclopropanation using iodomethane), 626-01-7, formula is C6H6IN, Name is 3-Iodoaniline. Williamson ether synthesis, Wittig reaction, Grignard reaction, alkyl coupling reactions, and Wurtz reaction. Recommanded Product: 3-Iodoaniline.

Lisboa, Lynn S.;Preston, Dan;McAdam, C. John;Wright, L. James;Hartinger, Christian G.;Crowley, James D. research published 《 Heterotrimetallic Double Cavity Cages: Syntheses and Selective Guest Binding》, the research content is summarized as follows. A strategy for the generation of heterotrimetallic double cavity (DC) cages [PdnPtmL4]6+ (DC1: n = 1, m = 2; and DC2: n = 2, m = 1) is reported. The DC cages were generated by combining an inert platinum(II) tetrapyridylaldehyde complex with a suitably substituted pyridylamine and PdII ions. 1H and DOSY NMR spectroscopy (NMR) and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESIMS) data were consistent with the formation of the DC architectures. DC1 and DC2 were shown to interact with several different guest mols. The structure of DC1, which features two identical cavities, binding two 2,6-diaminoanthraquinone (DAQ) guest mols. was determined by single-crystal x-ray crystallog. In addition, DC1 was shown to bind two mols. of 5-fluorouracil (5FU) in a statistical (non-cooperative) manner. In contrast, DC2, which features two different cage cavities, was found to interact with two different guests, 5FU and cisplatin, selectively.
